That’s what I’m going to call this (short, I hope) chapter in my life.

I quit my job. I don’t have another one waiting. But I’m pretty sure I’m going to get hired by one specific place, and failing that, there are plenty of other opportunities. I’m going to be fine.

In the meantime, I’ve got all this time and am almost surprised to say, I’m doing a lot of what I wish I would do with spare time: learning, experimenting, gaining experience, even reading.

It’s been a couple of weeks since I noticed that who I am has fairly suddenly transformed into a person I thought I would never be: the one who wakes up early, cooks for himself and eats well, goes to the gym, and does productive things in his spare time. The laziness seems to have left me. (Maybe I’m having a manic episode? Heaven forbid.)

I need a page with my recording portfolio on it. This has been on my to-to list for years and I’m going to start on it. Right now.
